Anyone with an interest in making more productive use of their time

The Need
Too often individuals waste time on unimportant tasks and/or allow interruptions not related to the job. The result is ineffective use of time. This leads to stress, missed deadlines, and poor productivity.

Objectives
 • To learn and apply a series of practical time management techniques that result in greater     productivity
 • To identify each participant's major job-related time wasters ... and to establish plans of action     for avoiding those behaviors
 • To incorporate goal-setting, prioritizing, and assertive communications into each participant's     overall Time Management Action Plan

 • Identifying time wasters --their costs, causes, and negative effects
 • Techniques for saving time
 • Prioritizing heavy workloads and projects
 • Establishing realistic goals and deadlines
 • Learning when and how to delegate
 • Getting a handle on interruptions and distractions
 • How assertiveness and decisiveness relate to time management
 • Counteracting procrastination
 • Personal action planning
 • Getting your subordinates to "buy in" to time management
