Target Population: Any employee responsible for managing/supervising others
Group Size: Up to 15 participants
Length of Program: One Day
Course Format: Theory and techniques, Role plays, Feedback, and Communication drills

The Need
One of the most critical aspects of supervisor/subordinate relationships is the giving of positive, negative, and goal-oriented feedback. Constructive criticism is a must, but it often ends up damaging or ruining working relationships.

Objectives
 •To use feedback as a motivational tool for coaching, developing, and inspiring employees
 •To master the art of constructive criticism, next step praising, short-term and long-term
  goal-setting, and employee counseling
 •To improve communication channels between supervisors and subordinates, increasing
   openness and motivational awareness

 • What motivates people; what turns them off
 • Motivational problems and their costs
 • How to give constructive criticism: A step-by-step approach
 • Praise that motivates . . . and inspires growth
 • Goal-setting techniques: How to set goals that meet personal and company needs
 • Counseling for awareness and change
